Ward 2 runs from Holt Road on the west to Liberty Street on the east, and from Lake Ontario north to the municipal boundary.

If you live outside Ward 2 you still vote for mayor and other offices, but not for this local councillor race.

Watch for your PIN letter

Clarington mails the voter information letter in early October. You need the PIN and your date of birth.

How the vote works

Voting is internet or telephone from 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 20 until 8 p.m. Monday, October 26. You do not have to wait until October 26.

To vote you need the PIN from the letter and your full date of birth as it appears on the voters’ list.

If the letter does not arrive

You may not be on the list, or the address may be wrong.

  • Add or correct your name at RegisterToVoteON.ca
  • In person at the Municipal Clerk’s office, 40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville
  • At an Election Assistance Centre or a Clarington Public Library branch, starting September 1
